A Cultural Heritage Video Game : Les Lumières de Val-Jalbert

Aim of the project

Les Lumières de Val-Jalbert is a heritage video game designed to offer an engaging pre-visit experience of the Val-Jalbert Historical Village as it was in 1959, an abandoned ghost town. Born as part of a research-creation project exploring the intersection of video games, cultural heritage, and virtual tourism, I was hired as narrative designer and researcher to develop the game's storytelling, character development, and cultural framework in collaboration with heritage experts.
