Triplex: A Game for Inclusive Language Learning
Aim of the project
TRIPLEX is a collaborative card game that supports linguistic integration and helps build self-confidence in French as a second language. Developed at UQAM’s Laboratoire ludique in collaboration with Joël Gagnon of Randolph Games and with the financial help of the ministère de la langue française, the game invites players to engage in inclusive and supportive conversations through playful challenges based on everyday Québécois expressions. Designed with and for learners in francisation programs, TRIPLEX fosters language practice in a welcoming, judgment-free environment—empowering participants to speak, listen, and connect with confidence.
